Returns and exchange details
WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS AND WE DO NOT ISSUE REFUNDS OR REPLACE PLANTS IF THEY DIE AFTER YOU RECEIVE THEM! This is because we have no control over the care they are given once they leave our nursery. Plants are living organisms and need proper care in order to acclimate to their new surroundings. We will only issue a refund or replace a plant if it arrives dead or is damaged in transit to the point where it can not survive. In the event your plant arrives damaged, we must be notified within 24 hours of receiving your plant. You will be required to provide pictures of the damaged plant along with the packaging and depending on the extent of the damage, it will be to our discretion whether a refund or replacement is warranted. Arriving wilted is not considered dead or damaged, merely dehydrated! Tropical Coast Creations guarantees that every plant we ship is of the finest quality and that all of our orders are carefully handled and packed in a manner that optimizes the safe delivery of the plant or plants to your location. Tropical Coast Creations guarantees that your plants will arrive alive!
All of our plants will ship bare-root (no soil or pot) and with most of their leaves removed. Sometimes all of the leaves will be removed depending on the plant. Some may arrive dormant and may look dead but they are not. Some plants that are shipped with leaves will arrive with those leaves wilted or may even fall off. This does not mean your plant is dead! A quick and easy test to determine if your plant is alive or dead is to scratch the bark of the plant with your fingernail or a coin and if it is green, it is alive! If you scratch the bark and it is brown or black, then it is probably dead.
We ask that you do your research on the plants you are ordering prior to purchasing to make sure you know how to properly care for them and to make sure they are suitable for your growing zone. Tropical Coast will not be liable or guarantee any plant which dies due to neglect after delivery or for plants which are purchased which are not suitable for your growing zone.
If you are not 100% satisfied with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt so that we may try to resolve any issues. Please give us the opportunity to correct or rectify any issues with your order prior to leaving feedback.
Shipping
Tropical Coast Creations guarantees that every plant we ship is of the finest quality and that all of our orders are carefully handled and packed in a manner that optimizes the safe delivery of the plant or plants to your location. All plants will ship bare-rooted (no soil) and with most leaves removed. This is to reduce stress on the plant during shipping. Some trees my be topped off and branches removed in order fit in the packaging. Plants will be shipped USPS 3-day priority mail and will only be shipped on Monday or Tuesday. Orders typically ship within 2 weeks once you place your order unless the item is on backorder or there is inclement weather that may adversely effect your plants.
****During winter months, (November 1st to April 1st) shipments may be delayed or postponed until such time it is safe to ship to a particular part of the country. We will not ship plants to areas where night time temperatures are below 40 degrees F. We monitor the weather conditions daily and will only ship once we feel it it safe to do so. You will get an email notification along with a tracking number once your order has shipped.
Due to agricultural restrictions, we do not ship to AZ at this time.
